Below: Whilst it was still quite light, Keith and Julie set off to investigate Acton Burnell Church which stands adjacent to the castle itself.  The church itself was as quiet as the grave within as the pair wandered round photographing the building (got a good shot of some splendid mediaeval floor tiles for Tyger to pour over!).  As Julie walked down the aisle towards the alter a male voice quite close behind her exclaimed "Oh Jesus!"

Thinking it was Keith, Julie turned to ask what was wrong, Keith looked suprised and said that he hadn't uttered a word.  Julie then took a photo in the direction from which the voice had come, the image below is a little suprising...

The figure of a man with a white 'stock' can clearly be seen standing in the doorway....

...whilst (below) a random shot of an upstairs window appears to show a figure in profile turning away into the room...

 

As darkness falls (below) Tyger and Dave check out the old cemetary which lies just beyond the castle wall...

 

Below:  In the 'watchtower' room where an earlier anomaly had appeared (see above) our equipment began to drain rapidly, the EMF meter was reloaded and immediately drained completely again...Anth and Kate listen in the darkness for a sign that they are not alone..

 

Below:  Acton Burnell Castle, although relatively 'quiet' in terms of the paranormal that night, suddenly put up a spectacular light display
