It's easy to look at a photo taken on an investigation - or taken randomly anywhere for that matter - spot an anomaly and start doing backflips thinking you've captured an aspect of the paranormal for posterity! However, sometimes the camera can produce spectacular 'paranormal' effects thanks to the inadvertant efforts of something as innocuous as a moth.
Below: This is a prime example of a winged insect caught mid-flight in the camera flash. Pretty, but NOT paranormal!

The image below illustrates the effect produced when a moth flies between the camera lens and the subject during a night-time investigation.

The image below is again nothing more than an insect streaking across the sky at speed!

The image below, although it may look like a scene from the latest Hollywood 'something nasty in the woodshed' blockbuster is nothing more than the camera flash bouncing off the river just beyond Holt Bridge producing this surreal but perfectly rational image.
Julie is however willing to negotiate with any major film company looking for a star on the strength of this shot!!

Below is a rather pretty moth engaging in take off manouvers!

A small swarm of gnats perform beautifully for the camera in the shot below
