Valle Crucis Abbey - The Abbey in the Valley of the Cross - was founded near Llangollen in North Wales in 1201by Madoc ap Gruffydd Maelor, Prince of Powys. Home to a brotherhood of Cistercian, or white, monks loyal to the native Royal House of Wales, it was badly damaged in a fire in 1236 and required significant repair following the Fall of Wales in 1282 and the damage inflicted upon it by the armies of Edward I.
Henry VIII finally put paid to the fortunes of Valle Crucis when he dissolved the monestary in 1537, it was later used as a house and indeed even put to use as farm buildings.
Today Valle Crucis stands serenely in the Valley of the Cross. Often photographed and one of the main tourist attractions in the area it is said by the locals to be haunted by the ghosts of the loyal monks who served the House of Cunedda so loyally and paid so dear a price for their allegance......
The image below was taken in a small chamber just beyond the monks' dormitory adjacent to a sealed up door entrance. This image was captured with a Fuji camera.
Minutes later, the orb was captured again, this time with a Nikon camera. It has moved down the wall slightly, the entrance to the sealed up doorway can just be seen at the extreme left of the photo.

The full picture below, also reveals a large orb to the right of the image, slightly down and to the right of the notice board at the far end of the chamber.

Another orb was picked up at the far end of the same chamber (below)
